Status Training Services will design, develop, and adapt training courses to meet your staff development needs, we are flexible where the training is delivered and will provide training out of office hours or at weekends, when required, for no extra cost.

 

Most of our training is delivered in house, however, we do hold training days at our preferred venues for individual members of staff (see course dates). Early booking is recommended.

Accredited and Certificated Staff Training

 

This is the only 'Searching Pupils and Students' training which is fully accredited and certificated by 'Skills for Security' who are the skills and standards setting body for the security industry in the UK.

 

'Skills for Security' are the body recommended by the Department for Education for finding  training providers who are competent and capable to deliver this type of training 

 

Accredited and Certificated Staff Training  

 

Recent statistics show there has been an increase in theft from employers, this course will show how to search employees in a safe, legal and systematic manner, we will help you write a policy to enable searches in the workplace and even provide staff to carry out random searches if required.

 

  • Security Search Operations (Train the Trainer)

 

Delivered in partnership with Skills for Security this training may take place in Worcester or at the clients preferred venue. The training is in 4 x 1 day modules.

Security Searches conducted by well trained people are a vital resource for protecting a company's assets and its' people, clients and visitors.  This course is designed for security industry personnel to carry out systematic searches as part of everyday guarding operations.

 

Accredited and Certificated Staff Training

 

This is the end user training of the above course which is available as individual modules. Learners are introduced to the threat from terrorism including recognising improvised explosive devices, their component parts and how they are used as a means of attack. The training excludes the use of technical equipment and concentrates on human skills and knowledge required to search in a systematic way. Staff will be trained to the new National Occupational Standards for Security Search Operations.

 

Statistics for 2008-2009 reveal more than 160 gun incidents in schools. Overall there were more than 22,000 gun related incidents of which more than 800 involved children 16 and under.
